What Is A Sensitivity Reader?

A sensitivity reader is a consultant from a marginalized group who assists writers by reading their manuscripts and letting them know if there are any issues with context or phrasing as it pertains to that group.

Why Do I Need A Sensitivity Reader?

Sometimes writers are unintentionally offensive to marginalized groups. If you aren't part of a marginalized group, it's easy to make mistakes. This may result in your manuscript not getting published, or offending others.

My rates and timeline vary depending on the size and scope of the project, and I will be happy to give you a quote for how much it will cost and how long it will take. Rush services available for an additional fee, schedule permitting.
