First, I would like to thank Arne Mitchell for this fascinating and gripping sci-fi novel called Ready Player One. He recommended that I should broaden my horizons. Spoiler alert; it's also a movie!

Seventeen-year-old Wade Watts is growing up in a trailer park when he stumbles across The Oasis, which is a virtual world all its own. This novel is beautifully written and vivid. I feel like I'm right there with the main character as he transports himself from one world to another.

The Oasis is a video game and virtual world. This book is filled with pop culture references like the DeLorean car from Back to the Future and Pac-Man the video game. That's what kept me reading it because it was relatable even though this story takes place in 2025, which is not that far away.

I will not give too much away because I really want you to enjoy this book, but I'll just say this; the character of Artemis kicks ass, and she's a girl!
